Hordijk Holding
Alcomij is part of the Hordijk Holding which is an umbrella organization of mainly industrial companies with a focus on packaging, logistics products and construction products. With more than 400 employees a turnover of around 100 million is realised.
Hordijk started the family business in 1922 with the processing of wood as the main activity. In the past decades, plastic processing and the production of aluminum and steel have received a strong emphasis. Hordijk Holding is now a leading producer with specialised subsidiaries:
- Thermoform packaging in two factories in Zaandam
- EPS (Airpop) Packaging and insulation products in Delft
- Injection molded packaging and bottle blowing in Zevenhuizen
- Greenhouse systems & logistics cultivation solutions from Alcomij ‘s-Gravenzande
The Hordijk Holding is in the top 100 of Dutch manufacturing companies. In Germany Hordijk has a sales organisation, Miko-Hordijk GmbH, together with Miko-Pac from Belgium.
